South Korean girl group Wonder Girls reportedly disbanded on Jan. 26 due to contract expiration.
According to JYP Entertainment, two of the band members, Yeeun and Sunmi, will be leaving the agency, while Yubin and Hyerim will stay on to pursue other entertainment opportunities, such as acting, music and being MCs.
The company also announced that the Wonder Girls would be releasing a final digital single on Feb. 10, which coincides with the group's 10th anniversary, as a form of gratitude to fans. A goodbye video titled "Thank You for Being So Wonderful" was released on Thursday night.

“When we miss each other, hopefully we will all be comforted when hearing our songs, which are filled with our memories,” said group member Hyerim, addressing fans via the video.
Debuting in 2007, the Wonder Girls achieved their first worldwide success through the 2008 hit song "Nobody", which was also released in an English version and landed in 76th position on the Billboard Top 100 chart in 2009.
Throughout its journey, the group has experienced several member changes, and in 2009 it attempted to venture into the US market, which was deemed unsuccessful. (kes)
