Kim was discharged from the army in February and has been planning to continue his career as an actor and a singer. A legal dispute, however, is yet to be cleared up as he is waiting to stand as a witness for the attempted fraud trial of his ex-girlfriend.

Moreover, he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol in March. Police found him passed out while waiting for the signal at an intersection.
