hat if your long-awaited letter from Hogwarts finally arrives one day, and you will be able to learn about magic at one of the best schools of witchcraft and wizardry?

This is the basic plot in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, a role-playing game (RPG) developed by JamCity that will be launched soon under Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment's Portkey Games label. The release date is yet to be announced.

Said to be the first mobile game, Hogwarts Mystery transports players into the world of magic, from accepting the Hogwarts letter to meeting the Sorting Hat to find out which house they belong to, making friends with fellow Hogwarts students, and to mastering spells and potions and discovering magical mysteries.

According to GSM Arena, the game is set in the 1980s, so players will get to meet the school’s famous teachers, including Professor Severus Snape and Professor Albus Dumbledore.

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will be available on the iPhone App Store, Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore. (wir/mut)
