special weekend is coming up as St. Patrick’s Day falls on Saturday. It is a day that commemorates Saint Patrick -Ireland’s patron saint- and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, as well as celebrating the heritage and culture of the Irish in general.
While your minds might wander to lively parades in Dublin, London and New York, why not wear a touch of green and head to these bars in Jakarta for some beers and bites?
MO Bar
They say it’s your lucky day, but it’s actually four happy days from March 14-17, where Paddy’s Day is celebrated at MO Bar with a special “buy one, get one” offer on selected draught beers, house pouring spirits, St. Patrick’s special cocktails, and bar bites. Secure tables by the window to be able to gaze at the city view.

BATS
Beer lovers, bear in mind that on March 16 BATS offers free-flow beer 7 to 9 p.m. at Rp 90,000++ (US$ 6.55) per person. Acoustic live band and oversized portions of food will also be available during these hours. Try “the big cheese” burger with pure ground beef double-patty weighing 300 grams.
Melted aged cheddar, balsamic braised onion, sesame bun, coleslaw, and fries come with the burger.

McGettigan’s
This will be the first ever Paddy’s Fest Party in Jakarta for McGettigan’s, located in the Mega Kuningan area. The Fest Party will be held on March 16 and 17, featuring loads of live Irish music and live sports including the final round of the Natwest Six Nations.
The playlist on Saturday will include U2 and Cranberries tribute acts.
