Tatjana Sapphira among winners at 2018 Seoul International Drama Awards

ndonesian actress Tatjana Saphira was named one of the winners in the Asian Star Prize category at the 2018 Seoul International Drama Awards on Sept. 3, which took place at KBS Hall in South Korea.

The cast of Sweet 20 (2017) accepted the award while wearing Biyan’s Sumba-inspired dress. “[I] had a great night and felt honored to receive the Asian Star Prize,” said Tatjana in an Instagram post.

She also uploaded her photo with South Korean actor Park Seo-joon, who is known for his role in TV series What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim. Dedicating the post to her fellow Korean drama fans, Tatjana wrote that What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim would be on her “K-drama bucket list”.

She also shared her photo with South Korean actress Son Ye-jin, who brought home the Best Actress award in the Korean Dramas category.

Aside from Tatjana, Japanese actor Ryohei Otani also won the same award.

Initiated by the Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee and the Korean Broadcasters Association, this year’s award ceremony is said to be the largest since its debut in 2006 as it received a total of 268 entries from 56 countries. (wir/kes)
