Healthy eating caterers emphasize a rich global menu variety to tackle restricted diet perception, with among other Dapurfit launching its "Around the World" program.
ealthy eating catering delivery services for individual meals are becoming more popular among Jakartans, with varied menus offered ranging from an emphasis on flavor and ingredients.
Premium catering company Dapurfit launched its "Around the World" program in November, also named "20 Days Around the World Diet Trip", providing healthy meals with a taste of different cuisines from 40 different countries. The program aims to attract healthy eaters without deterring from the perceived limited foods often associated in a diet.
Dapurfit chief executive officer Julius Sathya said the program would run from Nov. 5-30 and offer 160 healthy menus.
"During the program, all the meals are from different countries," Julius said in a statement. "So for example, Monday’s lunch menu could be from Italy and the Monday evening menu from Thailand. Tuesday lunch menu could be from the US and Tuesday evening menu from Vietnam, and so on."

To add to the experience, subscribers would also be given a "Diet Passport" and collect stickers of different flags from each meal.
"The passport also contains daily motivation for dieters," Julius said, adding that a complete collection would qualify a subscriber to the caterer's 2019 New Year program. "We make healthy eating a pleasant experience, so people can continue to eat healthy for the rest of their lives," he added.
Dapurfit is among several caterers in Jakarta that highlight healthy eating, while emphasizing measured calories and nutritional value in each meal.
Other caterers also tapping into the healthy eating catering include Leafwell, which works with nutritionists and chefs to create a range of well-balanced meals.
Meanwhile, another option, Pure Foods Company, offers organic meals ranging from non-vegetarian, vegetarian and Paleo dishes. (liz/kes)
