Singer Agnez Mo is among the Social Star Award nominees at the iHeartRadio Music Awards 2019.
HeartMedia has announced the nominees for its sixth annual iHeartRadio Music Awards on Wednesday. Indonesian singer Agnez Mo is included in the Social Star Award category, alongside rapper Bhad Bhabie, actor Dylan Minnette (13 Reasons Why), television personality Trixie Mattel and Japanese singer-songwriter Joji, among others. The Social Star Award is included in the socially voted categories, in which the winners are determined by fans' votes.
According to Billboard, a number of categories in the award will be voted by fans, including best lyrics, best music video, social star award and cutest musician’s pet.
Agnez also posted the news on Instagram, along with the steps on how to vote for her. “JUST GOT THIS AMAZING NEWS! iHeartRadioAwards 2019!! And guess who just got nominated! Vote vote vote. Thanks for all ur support. Pls find out how to vote on @the.agnation,” she wrote in the caption.

iHeartRadio is a free broadcast and internet radio platform founded in April 2008. The annual iHeartRadio Music Awards is said to recognize the most popular artists and music over the past year. The full list of nominees can be seen here.
In this year’s nominations, American rapper Cardi B tops the list with 13 nominations, followed by Drake and Post Malone with eight and five nominations respectively. Other popular stars such as Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes and Maroon 5 also received multiple nominations.
Fans can cast their votes here. Social voting began on Jan. 9 and will close on March 7, while the ceremony will take place on March 14th at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. (wng)
