E

nglish rock band Led Zeppelin has announced a collaborative capsule collection with Vans, a manufacturer of skateboarding shoes and related apparel, to celebrate the classic rock band's 50th anniversary.

Two versions of Zeppelin Vans were showcased when the band took to their official Twitter account to drop the news.

The first item in the collaboration is the Era. The low cut, skate friendly shoes have a black leather upper featuring symbols from the album art for Led Zeppelin IV.

The second shoe in the capsule collection, the Sk8-Hi, features the image of the Hindenburg from the band’s 1969 debut.

From the Twitter post, we can also see that there are two shirts as part of the capsule collaboration. They appear to have one design for each album cover, and a baseball cap to top off the collection.

The collection is set to drop on Feb. 22 and will be available through the official websites of Vans and Led Zeppelin and in select Vans stores. At this stage, there is no word on pricing, but the line is expected to fly out the doors.

The official Instagram account of Vans Indonesia announced that the collection would be available at Vans stores in Jakarta and its authorized dealers in Denpasar, Bali, and Surabaya, East Java. (geo/mut)
