Nike has launched the Phantom React Flyknit, the slip-on version of its Epic React Flyknit shoe.
The new shoe features a laceless one-piece upper, elastic yarn on the tongue and collar for a comfortable fit. A plastic heel clip adds structure and stability to the shoe, while the midsole is soft and bouncy.
The Phantom React Flyknit debut model boasts a minimal design in multicolor purple.
The shoe was globally released on May 2 and is available in Nike stores at Rp 2,279,000.

Nike first introduced its Flyknit technology in 2012, aiming to create a high-performance material and reduce waste at the same time.
According to The Guardian, the computer-controlled "knitting" technology shapes the upper shoe by combining strands of polyester yarn.
Tony Bignell, vice president of footwear innovation at Nike, was quoted as saying, "We started thinking: how could you make a running shoe feel like a sock? And how do you build structure and support into the sock without adding layers? Our goal was to innovate based on our 'nature amplified' design principles, which focus on the body's movement in sport performance and aim to help realize the athlete's natural ability." (sop/wng)
