A self-made woman, philanthropist and social entrepreneur Veronica Colondam is driven by her past struggles and determined to save others from the troubles that she experienced.

“Well, I would say that my greatest achievement is staying alive after the past 20 years,” she said.
Veronica is the founder of Cinta Anak Bangsa Foundation (YCAB), which has specialized in educational empowerment and assistance for women and children since 1999, allowing them to improve their livelihoods.
Over the past 20 years, she has managed to grow the foundation into a powerhouse NGO, comfortably securing the trust of donors and investors as well as overseeing the educational and financial development of millions in Indonesia.

In the beginning, Veronica opted not to go to college because her circumstances forced her to look for work instead of pursuing a higher education.
