usiness in the field of beauty is increasingly prevalent among many celebrities. This time, it is Selena Gomez's turn to kick start her journey in the business.

Gomez has filed her beauty line’s trademark and patent under its production company, July Moon Productions, to the US Patent and Trademark Office on July 11, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The products will range from fragrances and skincare products to essential oils, though there is still no detail about the release date.

In 2011, the singer ventured into beauty by releasing Selena Gomez Eau de Parfum. She asked fans to help her create the scents and choose the ingredients.

Gomez is the latest celebrity to launch beauty lines after Rihanna’s Fenty by Rihanna, Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories, Miranda Kerr’s Kora Organic and Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics.

In the fashion line, Gomez collaborated with American luxury brand Coach in launching a ready-to-wear collection last year and she released her fitness line with Puma last May.

In June, the singer confirmed to ET Online that she has completed her new album though the official release date is yet to be confirmed. Revival, her second studio album, was released in 2015. (ran/wng)
