Cath Kidston's premium collection boasts more versatile styles
Named after the brand’s headquarters address, the Freston collection offers more mature styles compared with Cath Kidston’s previous collection.

British fashion brand Cath Kidston introduced a new premium collection on Wednesday at Pondok Indah Mall, South Jakarta.
Named after the brand’s headquarters address, the Freston collection offers more mature styles compared with Cath Kidston’s previous collection.
Established by fashion designer Catherine Isabel Audrey Kidston, the brand is known for its quirky designs with floral or polka dot patterns.
This time, the collection appears to be different as it was built around the classic rose insignia and also featured cacti and cowboy design elements
Cath Kidston Indonesia brand manager Farah Safitri said during the launch that the collection was something new from Cath Kidston.

Featuring 14 designs, the collection comes in darker colors, namely taupe, dark navy and beige.
Farah said the colors were rare for Cath Kidston. “Although we have navy color, it’s brighter [than the new collection],” she explained.
With regard to material, the Freston collection uses leather goods, unlike Cath Kidston's usual canvas or PVC coated cotton bags.
Farah mentioned that the collection was suitable for everyday use, from morning until night.
“The color can be mixed and matched with formal attire for evening [events],” she added.
The Freston collection is available in Cath Kidston’s outlets with prices starting from Rp 699,000 (US$49.57). (kes)
