T

he official trailer for Joko Anwar's highly anticipated horror film Perempuan Tanah Jahanam (Woman of the Cursed Land) was finally released on Monday.

The trailer opens with a conversation between Maya (Tara Basro) and Dini (Marissa Anita), where the former shared her plans of traveling for a week to her parents' hometown as she was tipped that she'd probably inherit something from them. Scenes in the 1-minute 46-second video show the two women departing on a bus and arriving at a creepy house in a remote village, stumbling upon a children's graveyard and two people carrying sharp objects staring at them in a strange way. And later two men were seen throwing away something in a bucket that looked a lot like blood.
