he Endeus Festival run by food channel Endeus.tv, is slated to run from Oct. 25 to 27 at Gandaria City shopping mall in South Jakarta.

For the first edition, the festival will provide a "Fully Foodie Experience".

Endeus.tv CEO David Wayne Ika said during a press conference on Friday that the festival would showcase all things related to food and cooking, including a variety of activities, such as food bazaar, live-cooking demonstrations, baking, food tasting and more.

David also explained that the live-cooking demonstrations would involve intergenerational chefs, including legendary chef Sisca Soewitomo, young chef Yuda Bustara and YouTube personality Elisabeth Wang.

Meanwhile, aspiring food entrepreneurs can learn business tips from Danu Sofwan, a young entrepreneur who created beverage brand Radja Cendol.

In the festival, home chefs can purchase cooking equipment or food ingredients at the Marketplace Bazaar.

Furthermore, the Endeus Festival will host two talent shows, namely Home Chef and Bintang Endeus.

The former invites all home chefs to modify one of the five recipes shared by the Endeus Festival.

The competition is open until Sept. 30 and the grand prize includes a kitchen makeover.

“We will renovate the winner’s kitchen,” said David.

As for the latter, the competition is said to be looking for a star for the cooking channel.

“We will sign up the winner to be the host for one of our programs,” explained David. (wng)
