DJ and music producer Dipha Barus wants to continue making music that has a positive impact on people’s lives.
When Dipha’s father passed away, he told his son to do what he loved.
“Well, I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember. I can’t fall in love with anything else,” Dipha said during a recent interview.
That love of music has given Dipha an illustrious career in the music industry, both locally and globally. Dabbling mainly in the electronic dance music (EDM) genre, Dipha’s proficiency as an artist has allowed him to perform at various international music festivals.
Dipha found his mojo in his musical style when he was an elementary school student. Back then, he studied the bass and surprisingly his time with the musical instrument influenced his musical style to this day.
“I have a unique bassline in my music,” the 34-year old Dipha said.
