A new computer-animated feature, the Canadian comedy "The Willoughbys" directed by Kris Pearn and Cody Evans, is set to release on the streaming platform in April.
The movie tells the story of the four Willoughby children, who elaborate a plot to send their selfish parents away on vacation. Convinced that they can raise themselves better on their own, the children are forced to adapt their old-fashioned values to the modern world.
Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Alessia Cara, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski and Ricky Gervais have been cast to voice the different characters. "The Willoughbys" is based on the eponymous book by American novelist Lois Lowry, which was published in 2008.
"The Willoughbys" is due out on April 22 on Netflix.
