Spotify announced that its Lyrics feature is now available for all its free and premium users in Indonesia.

The feature allows users to view real-time lyrics on the Spotify app, which will be shown in the song’s language. It can be accessed by tapping the Lyrics tab at the bottom of the Now Playing screen within the app.

To license the lyrics, the streaming service is partnering with MusixMatch, which claims to be the world’s largest catalog of song lyrics and translations.

“Lyrics has been one of the most requested features by Spotify users and we’re excited to make song lyrics available to listeners in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia. Listeners can now get to know their favorite tracks - and the lyrics behind them - even better,” said Boon Ken Wong of Spotify in a statement.

According to TechCrunch, the feature was launched on Wednesday in 26 markets across Southeast Asia, India and Latin America.

Launched in 2008, Spotify has over 50 million tracks on its service, including more than 1 million podcast titles. It is considered the most popular audio streaming subscription service with more than 268 million users.

In April, Spotify launched Musik Indonesia hub, which allows users to access more than 30 playlists of various genres in Indonesian music, including pop, dangdut and hip-hop. Some of the flagship playlists found within the hub are Puncak Klasemen, consisting of the freshest hits from the country; Naik Daun, a compilation of the hottest tracks from up-and-coming acts; and Ke Seberang, which features homegrown talent with successful careers in the international scene.
