onder Woman is back with more lasso tricks, a shiny armor and a new nemesis in the freshly-dropped “Wonder Woman 1984” trailer.

The trailer released on Aug. 22, features Gal Gadot again as the superhero, a.k.a. Diana Prince, working at the Natural History Museum in Washington D.C. Somehow, she reunites with her romantic interest Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) whom she last saw in the World War I era.

While playing tour guide to Steve in the 1980s, her colleague Barbara Minerva (Kristen Wiig) has transformed into a cat-human hybrid called Cheetah.

“I don’t wanna be like anyone, I wanna be an apex predator,” she says to Diana. “You’ve always had everything. Well, people like me have had nothing. Now it’s my turn. Get used to it.”

During a battle, Wonder Woman also unfurls a new look — her golden armor.

The Wonder Woman sequel, directed by Patty Jenkins, was set to hit theaters in June, but has been postponed twice due to the coronavirus pandemic, first to August then to October.
