Oh, for God's sake, leave the Ahmadiyah followers alone! Let them worship. How can they (Ahmadiyah opponents) condone and live side by side with the other religions but not Ahmadiyah?
If they think their Islam is the truth, then let them keep it for themselves, not force people to join mainstream Islam. I think it would be better if those people showed their tolerance and their respect. Truly, Ahmadiyah followers have never caused public insecurity before.

There is only one Islam. There is only one Holy Koran. Pure Islam is as clear as black and white. You either follow the religion correctly or you don't.
The issue here with Ahmadiyah is not that they are or are not following the religion correctly, but the fact that they have attempted to change the pure Islamic beliefs into something they are not and then attempt to infect the people whom are not entirely familiar with Islam with their version that is not Islam.
Islam cannot be allowed to be contaminated with poison like that which Ahmadiyah is spreading to the people, confusing them. Their concept of Islam is not Islam! They go against a very core belief, which is that Muhammad (peace be upon Him) is the last of the prophets. They call one of their own people a prophet and this is blasphemy!
Of course myself and any red-blooded, believing, pure Muslim is very angry with them down to the deepest depths of our hearts. The Jakarta Post does not need to exploit the name hard-liner Muslims every time a Muslim is angry.
I am definitely not a hard-liner but I stand defiant in front of those who try to spoil our pure religion. You must realize that a real Muslim would rather die than allow groups like Ahmadiyah spoil or change their religion.
This is not just a hard-liner problem; it involves more than 1 billion Muslims on this planet that have no toleration of evil-minded men that try to spoil and destroy our religion. May Allah open your eyes and guide you to the "real" truth.

Politicians and the mullahs (Muslim clerics) are the cause of Ahmadiyah persecution. The head of the Ahmadiyah Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (Ameer-ul-Mumineen), has responded to the recent persecution of the community in both Pakistan and Indonesia.
He said the cause of such persecution was the mutual relationship that had developed between the mullahs and the politicians in the respective countries. He said both were fearful of losing the worldly power and thus had joined together.
"The Indonesian government has banned the Ahmadiyah Muslim Community from preaching in the country. In Pakistan, similar restrictions have been imposed upon us but has that stopped the community from prospering? In Indonesia, too, we will continue to garner the ever greater blessings of Allah Almighty", the Ahmadiyah caliph said.
