With regard to contaminated Chinese dairy products, and products containing contaminated milk, I have just returned from Europe where all the supermarkets have taken these contaminated products off their shelves.
To my horror I discovered upon my return that many shops in Bogor still have Chinese contaminated dairy products on their shelves.
I herewith ask the Health Ministry to clearly name all these contaminated products and prohibit sales of the same, using the media, i.e., TV, newspapers and radio stations, to warn our citizens. China is clamping down on sales of these products in their own country and action has been taken against the dairy farms that are responsible for the contamination.
Our government should be serious in protecting the health of its citizens. I know that shop-owners are very reluctant to take these products off their shelves as they will suffer a big financial loss.
However, good health is very important and curing those who are now sick after having consumed these contaminated products will be more costly or, worse, will end with death.
