ENPASAR: Bank offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to the legislative election and Good Friday religious holiday.

The banks will resume operations Monday, said Rusdiaharsono, spokesman from the Denpasar Bank Indonesia.

"The closing of banking offices is due to these important national dates," he said.

"Therefore, we have asked those banks to optimize their services before the long weekend and restock all their ATMs to anticipate a surge in cash withdrawals."
