JAKARTA: Actress Mona Ratuliu is keeping busy after giving birth to her second child, with a hectic daily schedule that includes getting her body back to its pre-baby shape.
“I’m putting myself on a diet,” Mona says. “I have to drop about 22 kilograms to get my body back to its original weight of 55 kilograms.”
Being slim, Mona says, makes her feel good. “And that will keep my husband at home,” the wife of Indra Brasco adds jokingly.
But her ambitious plan will not take her focus off her son Raka, who, she says, is top priority.
“I’ll continue breast-feeding him,” says the 27-year-old actress, who gave birth on March 31 by caesarian section.
Although she is delighted with their new bundle of joy, Mona says the delivery panicked her because she was not ready for it.
“I was not ready that time because I wanted to deliver my baby naturally [not C-section]. I was confused and got really stressed out so that I cried over that decision,” she reveals.
“But I’m very happy now … especially because it’s a baby boy. I finally have a pair of a daughter and a son,” says Mona, whose first child Davina was born six years ago. — JP
