Indonesia has 9.7 million hectares of palm oil plantation but the areas have been planted to cover 7.9 million hectares and its production target this year is estimated at 25 million tons of crude palm oil (CPO). It represents as the leading producer of CPO in the world. This CPO production has exceeded Malaysia's. These sectors have created work opportunities for more than 30 million of people in the country. Besides, we need to increase production and productivity annually, it is also important to raise its semi and final products that have higher added value for domestic and export purposes. It is known that earlier Malaysia processed a big part of its CPO production to make the semi and final products for export so that its export value is higher.
