Fira Basuki’s husband passes away

AKARTA: Havez Agung Baskoro, the husband of novelist Fira Basuki, passed away on Friday after slipping into a coma.

Kapanlagi.com reported that Fira announced her husband’s death on Twitter.

Fira has one child to Havez, and she is currently pregnant with their second child.

“Friday is a good day. I’m sincere my husband. I love you @MrAmplitudo. Happy in heaven, next to Allah,” Fira stated on Twitter.

The 39-year-old author first spoke on Twitter about her husband’s coma on Wednesday. Fira has written several novels, including the trilogy Jendela-Jendela (Windows), Pintu (Door) and Atap (Roof). She is also the editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Indonesia magazine.
