Seagate opens 1st ‘concept store’ in Jakarta

eagate Technology Plc, producer of hard disk drives announced on Tuesday it would open its first “concept store” in Indonesia. The store will be located in Mangga Dua Mall, North Jakarta, an area famous for information technology retail services, and will be established in partnership with PT. Gerak Puncaklancar.

“Indonesia is a very important market in Asia-Pacific, hence the decision to strengthen our commitment by opening the concept store,” Ban Seng Teh, senior vice president and managing director for Seagate Asia Pacific and Japan said in a release sent to The Jakarta Post.

Seagate will allow consumers to test their products in the store, expected to open every day of the week.
