AKARTA: Musician Pongki Barata says that music will always be his priority even though he is set to star in a new film, Anak Kos Dodol (Silly Room Mates).

'€œAs for my latest movie project, I agreed to join the team just because the director, Eman Pradipta, is my best friend,'€ said the former front man of Jikustik pop band.

'€œPlus, the shooting took place in Yogyakarta.'€

'€œMusic is my main business,'€ 37-year-old said. '€œI make money from it, but I also make songs for charity simply because I want to.'€

Pongki is currently member of The Dance Company pop-rock band along with top Indonesian musicians such as Ibrahim Imran (Baim), Agustinus Gusti Nugroho (Nugie) and Ariyo Wahab.
