P

opular dangdut singer Inul Daratista arrived in Manado on Wednesday with the intention of visiting relatives of the victims of the fire that destroyed her Inul Vista karaoke parlor in the city and claimed 12 lives.

Tribunnews.com reported that many journalists were waiting for Inul who was staying at the Lion hotel.

'€œI'€™ll check whether Inul is willing to meet the media. She entered the hotel through the side access,'€ one of her bodyguards said.

Earlier on Monday, the North Sulawesi Council said it would summon the singer to explain about Sunday'€™s fire and safety equipment in the three-story karaoke hall.

'€œEven if she is only the owner of the brand, Inul should ask her business partners to provide fire equipment in the karaoke hall,'€ said councilor Revani Parasan.
