AKARTA: Singer/songwriter Melly Goeslaw felt emotional attachment while working on the soundtrack of the upcoming Ada Apa dengan Cinta? 2 (What’s with Cinta? 2).

Melly and her husband, musician Anto Hoed, also teamed up to repeat the success of the soundtrack of the first installment.

“I hope the public enjoy this one, too,” she said on Wednesday.

The couple added that their two sons were also involved in recycling the song from the first film “Bimbang” (Wavering).

Anakku “Ale” Lelaki Hoed and younger brother Lelaki “Abe” Bernama Hoed belong to the Goodbye Felicia band where they play guitar and drums, respectively. Stephanie Poetri, the daughter of singer Titi DJ, lent her vocals to the song.

“When the first film was released, Ale was still a baby and Dian used to carry her around the studio,” said Melly, referring to Dian Sastrowardoyo, the star of Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?
