n the second day of his working visit to Papua, President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo is scheduled to inaugurate Nop Goliat Dekai Airport in Yahukimo, Papua. The President is also set to launch the government’s one-price fuel program for people in the region.
Jokowi and his entourage departed for Yahukimo on board the presidential airplane from Sentani Airport in Jayapura, on Tuesday morning.
In Yahukimo, President Jokowi is also scheduled to witness the operation preparations for Air Tractor AT-802, an aircraft operated by state-run energy giant Pertamina to support fuel distribution in remote areas across Papua, the Presidential Press Bureau said in a statement.
From Yahukimo, Jokowi and First Lady Iriana will depart to Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado, North Sulawesi, to hand over land certificates to people as part of the 2016 national strategic program. (ebf)
