hai soccer player Siroch Chattong scored another goal in a second-leg ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) finals match on Saturday, making his team the winner of the AFF Cup at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.
Chanathip Songkrasin looked to have run into a dead end on the left flank but after being confronted by three Indonesian defenders, he played the ball through his opponents’ legs to Siroch who made no mistake, firing across Kurnia Meiga and into the far corner of the goal in the 47th minute.
In the first half, Siroch beat Kurnia in seven minutes before the break. Using his knee, Siroch pushed the ball into the right side of Kurnia’s goal as Fachruddin Aryanto’s attempted clearance of a Theerathon Bunmathan cross went horribly wrong.
Thailand lead 3-2 on aggregate as Indonesia beat the country 2-1 at Pakansari Stadium in Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday. (jun)
