he rider of a sports motorcycle was killed early Monday morning in an accident that took place at Pondok Indah roundabout in South Jakarta.

The accident occurred as the victim was riding his Suzuki Hayabusa sport motorcycle at Jl. Metro Pondok Indah, said South Jakarta Police spokesperson, Comr. Purwanta.

 The victim, Peter Hasudungan Valentino, 29, lost control of his bike and hit a park separator at the roundabout.

“[The victim] suffered a serious head injury and died immediately,” Purwanta said, as quoted by kompas.com.

Peter’s body was then brought to Fatmawati hospital to be examined further, while the motorcycle and Peter’s personal effects were collected by police as evidence. (kuk/wit)
