View all search resultsGovernor-elect Anies Baswedan and his deputy Sandiaga Uno are set to take up their new positions at City Hall in the near future.
However, as of Thursday, the inauguration schedule has not yet been set.
"[The schedule is] not yet set. The team from the city administration is still working on it,” said Sandiaga as quoted by tempo.co on Wednesday evening.
Sandiaga also said he had yet to receive any information about the venue for the inauguration.
Separately, City Council deputy speaker Abraham “Lulung” Lunggana said the formal ceremony was supposed to be held on Oct. 15, but the date might still be changed.
“If current governor [Djarot Saiful Hidayat] says we need to wait for one more day [for the inauguration], we will do so because Oct. 15 is a Sunday,” said Lulung. (agn)
