View all search resultsesidents of Palem Bintaro housing complex in Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, Banten, were shocked to find six goats had gone missing with their innards left behind in the pen.
Four of the goats, owned by Masar, 70, and Hasan, 36, were believed to have been slaughtered in their pen while two goats were taken alive. Blood was also found around the pen.
Masar explained that the incident took place on June 26.
“When I was about to feed my chickens in the morning, I wondered why there was no sound coming from the goat pen. I thought they were all asleep, but when I checked they were all gone and some of their innards were on the floor,” Masar said as reported by wartakota.tribunnews.com.
“Probably the thieves drugged them so they would not make a sound,” he added.
Hasan and Masar now have 10 goats left. Masar said they were going to breed the goats to be sold for Idul Adha. The goats were of the etawa kind that have large bodies. (vla)
