6-year-old boy was killed during a chain reaction vehicle crash on the Jagorawi toll road near the Sentul toll gate in Bogor regency, West Java on Monday.
Bogor Police traffic law enforcement chief Adj. Comr. Muhammad Fadli Amri said that the crash involved a bus and two cars.
“The accident occurred when the bus switched lanes and hit one car and dragged it to hit another car,” said Fadli as reported by tempo.co on Monday.
According to Fadli, at the time the accident took place, one of the cars was not moving on one of the lanes due to a flat tire.
“Shortly after the accident, the bus driver ran away from the location and is currently being pursued.”
A passenger of one of the cars, Rafa Azka Alfatih, 6, died on the way to Elang Medika Corpora (EMC) Hospital in Sentul.
Meanwhile, two other passengers, Kusumawati, 42, and M. Nuh, 71, suffered multiple wounds. (bry)
