akarta’s biggest amusement park Fantasy Land (Dufan) in Taman Impian Jaya Ancol is offering visitors discounted admission in celebration of its anniversary, which falls on Aug. 30.
“There will be discounted tickets and special performances on the evening of Dufan’s anniversary,” Ancol Dreamland Park corporate communications manager Rika Lestari said on Tuesday.
The ticket price after discounts is set at Rp 134,000 (US$9.41).
Visitors looking forward to enjoying lower-priced adrenaline-filled rides in the amusement park can purchase tickets through Ancol’s official website ancol.com.
However, the discounted tickets are only available for 2,500 customers, Antara news agency has reported.
Dufan had previously sold tickets with much higher discounts, offering 2,500 tickets for only Rp 34,000 but these sold out fast.
Ancol Dreamland Park has prepared exciting attractions to celebrate Indonesia’s 74th Independence Day on Aug. 17, ranging from an underwater flag-raising ceremony and musical drama to a panjat pinang (climbing the slippery pole) competition in Karnaval Ancol beach. (tru)
