MA athletes attended an open training at a gym in Jakarta ahead of a ONE Championship event dubbed ONE: Dawn of Valor, to be held at Senayan Stadium in Jakarta on Friday.

In addition to sharpening their skills, the fighters used the opportunity to study their opponents one last time.

In attendance were ONE Welterweight World Champion Zebaztian “The Bandit” Kadestam, former Prime Selection GP Welterweight Champion Kiamrian Abbasov, multiple-time champion in Indonesian National Wrestling Eko Roni Saputra, Philippine martial arts prospect Kaji Ebin, two-time Wushu World Champion Priscilla Hertati “Thathie” Lumban Gaol, two-time Myanmar National Boxing Champion Bozhena “Toto” Antoniyar, ONE Jakarta Flyweight Tournament Champion Stefer “The Lion” Rahardian and ONE Strawweight Indonesia Tournament Champion Adrian “Papua Badboy” Mattheis.

“I’m grateful to be back here and to be defending my title again,” Zebaztian said as quoted from a press release sent to The Jakarta Post on Tuesday.

Zebaztian will square off against Kiamrian Abbasov on the prime stage. Many expect a good fight, as the two athletes are considered complete fighters with a high level of skill.

“Kiamrian is an amazing fighter and a deserving challenger and I know that he will give me a good test come event night. We promise that we will put on a great show for the fans,” Zebaztian said.

Kiamrian said he was very grateful for the opportunity as he had worked very hard for it.

“Zebastian Kadestam is a great champion and a great fighter, but I am coming for that belt with everything that I have,” he said.
