efense Minister Prabowo Subianto visited Russian Deputy Minister of Defense Alexander Fomin in Russia on Tuesday, the official Twitter account of the Defense Ministry @Kemhan_RI announced.

It is the second time Probowo has visited Russia in the past six months. In January, Prabowo went to see Sergey Shoygu, the Russian minister of defense, to discuss defense and security cooperation.

During the recent visit, Prabowo and Fomin also talked about bilateral cooperation. “Both parties talked about bilateral relationship and cooperation in various fields, including education, joint training and the defense industry,” @Kemhan_RI wrote.

Besides discussing the bilateral relationship, Prabowo also attended an annual event held by the Russian government. He was invited by the Russian minister of defense to attend the 75th anniversary of the allied victory over Nazi Germany in World War II. (aly)
