Cartier revamps its boutique in Plaza Indonesia

F

rench luxury brand Cartier has revamped its boutique at Plaza Indonesia shopping mall in Central Jakarta and is ready to welcome shoppers again with a new look and ambiance combining tantalizing local touches to provide an unparalleled and delightful client experience.

The boutique, located on the shopping mall’s first floor, seeks to blend masculine and feminine touches in its new design. A VIP room is tucked away for exclusivity and privacy. The VIP room features a rattan-inspired wall line, with its furniture upholstered with fabric that mimics batik patterns.

Overall, the boutique incorporates local touches, with warm hues and elegant patterns inspired by Indonesian culture that encapsulate the entire space.

Stepping in the entrance hall, you will enter the feminine area decorated with cream-colored elements and golden patina materials and a glittering modern chandelier, which together bring brightness and elegance to the space.

The area is also decorated with a remarkable bas-relief wall, which portrays the iconic Cartier Panthére standing poised amid a tropical Indonesian landscape, surrounded by volcanic mountains and broadleaf evergreen forests, an exotic scenery that recalls some of Indonesia’s most famous natural sights.

This part of the room is interconnected with the boutique’s masculine area. Upon entering this zone, visitors will sense a warmer ambiance enticed by a darker palette. Here, the collection continuously appears on the wall as a digital display which is the first and only digital iconography available on display in Southeast Asia, giving visitors a modern and contemporary impression.
