Occupancy at Jakarta's isolation hotels drops to 21%

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has revealed that the occupancy rate of hotels used as isolation facilities for asymptomatic patients were now at 21 percent, down from 60 percent previously. A few months ago, the Jakarta administration “converted”the ibis Styles Jakarta Mangga Dua in North Jakarta, the U Stay Hotel Mangga Besar in West Jakarta and the ibis Jakarta Senen in Central Jakarta into isolation facilities for asymptomatic COVID-19 patients. “Previously, the occupancy rate reached more than 60 percent. The hotel isolation facilities now have an occupancy rate of only 21 percent.
