The American MMA legend is no stranger to rematches himself, having won his World Title by defeating Adriano Moraes in their second meeting at ONE Fight Night 1 this August.
ans around the world are excited to see how the trilogy fight between ONE Atomweight World Champion Angela “Unstoppable” Lee and ONE Strawweight World Champion Xiong “Panda” Jing Nan plays out at ONE Fight Night 2 this Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
And this includes newly crowned ONE Flyweight World Champion Demetrious Johnson.
The American MMA legend is no stranger to rematches himself, having won his World Title by defeating Adriano Moraes in their second meeting at ONE Fight Night 1 this August.
He is fascinated by the ONE Women’s Strawweight World Title showdown, and he believes “Unstoppable” will walk away as the two-division champion when it goes down.
“I think [one woman is] better than the other in certain areas. I think Angela’s better in the overall game of mixed martial arts, but I think ‘Panda’ is better on her feet,” Johnson said.
“At the end of the day, I think Angela beats her. I think Angela is going to use the overall game, walk her down, wrestle, get it on the ground, [and unleash her] ground and pound.”

This matchup is Lee’s second attempt at Xiong’s strawweight strap. The 26-year-old failed in her first shot in March 2019 when she succumbed to a technical knockout (TKO) defeat at the hands of the Chinese superstar.
The two women met again six months later, however. And this time, Lee scored a thrilling last-minute submission win over her rival to defend her atomweight belt.
Johnson foresees his compatriot going one-up in the storied feud, but the world will have to wait until Saturday to see if he has made the right call.
