View all search resultsPresident Joko “Jokowi” Widodo named Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) politician Azwar Anas the new administrative and bureaucratic reform minister on Wednesday to replace fellow-politician Tjahjo Kumolo, who died in July after holding the post since the start of Jokowi's second term in 2019.
Of 17 government agencies, local administrations and city-owned companies selected for top performance, BPOM and the East Java provincial government won the outstanding achievement award for their responses to public complaints, their use of technology to improve the responses as well as for providing legal framework that would allow the response system to be sustainable.
The National Mandate Party (PAN) has asserted that as part of the ruling coalition, it is still supporting President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s administration despite a call from the party’s patron Amien Rais who has asked a PAN politician to withdraw from his Cabinet post.
