Secretary-general of the Independent Election Monitoring Committee (KIPP), Kaka Suminta, said that although KPU officials deserved a pay raise considering their heavy workloads, the president should have increased their bonuses after all of the regional election processes were over.
The General Elections Commission (KPU) and local polling committees have until Feb. 24, or 10 days after the Feb. 14 voting day, to wrap up delayed voting and revoting in thousands of polling stations across the country.
