View all search resultsThe Finance Ministry recently issued a new ministerial decree regulating the management of funds for the geothermal sector by state-owned infrastructure financing company PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI).
The government plans this year to start the process of developing 12 geothermal power plants with a total capacity of 865 megawatts (MW) and combined investment value of around US$4.3 billion as part of its efforts to make Indonesia the world’s top geothermal electricity producer.
