A recently opened upscale KFC outlet in Senopati, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, has been sanctioned twice for violating COVID-19 health protocols amid the transitional period for large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in the city, local authorities have said.
From the 2.9 million square meters in existing retail space in Jakarta, net absorption shrank 13,400 sqm between July and September this year, JLL data show. In comparison, there was 300 sqm in new demand in the second quarter this year.

The headline figure of Indonesia’s manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) fell to 47.2 in September from 50.8 in August. A reading below the threshold point of 50 indicates a contraction in activities from the previous month.
