View all search resultsThe United States blacklisted five Iran- and Iraq-based companies and 15 individuals on Thursday for supporting terrorist groups, its third round of sanctions on Iranian targets in the last two weeks even as Tehran battles the coronavirus outbreak.
It added that it was "still not clear whether the attacks were effective or not," and suggested the US media reports were a "bluff meant to affect public opinion and regain lost reputation for the White House" following the downing of its drone.
US Secretary of State John Kerry and Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif reported some progress Tuesday on Iranian complaints that it's not getting the sanctions relief it deserves under last year's landmark nuclear deal.
