View all search resultsPolice have arrested three people suspected of distributing crystal methamphetamine smuggled in from the United States. One of them was apprehended while allegedly trying to pick up drug packages from a post office.
Adj. Sr. Comr. Agus Setiawan, who led the police headquarters in Empat Lawang, was dismissed after a forensics laboratory revealed he tested positive for amphetamine, a narcotic agent. The dismissal is stipulated in a National Police chief telegram dated Jan. 15.
The First Fleet Quick Response (FFQR) team from the Tanjung Balai Asahan Navy base in North Sumatra says it foiled an attempt to smuggle 5.3 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine into the country on a motor boat on the Asahan River.
