Many capsule hotels that target foreign tourists have opened recently, with vacationers apparently drawn to their reasonable fees, high-quality facilities and interior designs that allow guests to experience a slice of Japanese culture.

Jakarta to develop sharia-based hotels
Jakarta Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno promised on Thursday that the city would develop sharia-based hotels to absorb workers who lost their jobs after the closure of the Alexis Hotel in North Jakarta. The city claimed the hotel was a hotbed for prostitution.
