View all search resultsInvestment realization is showing a positive trend in line with a projection from the World Bank that Indonesia's economy would grow 5.0 percent this year, as evident in a report on third-quarter (Q3) investments released on Oct. 15 by the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
Investment realization in the city of Batam, Riau Islands province, recorded significant growth in the first quarter of 2024 to Rp 7.45 trillion (US$454,900), according to the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
Investment realization in Banten increased significantly throughout 2023 compared with the previous year. This westernmost province of Java Island successfully absorbed investments amounting to Rp 103.85 trillion according to data released by the Investment Ministry/BKPM. This figure represents a 29.46 percent annual increase compared with the realization in 2022, which amounted to Rp 80.22 trillion.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati has said that this year’s state revenue will reach an estimated Rp 1.94 quadrillion (US$133.39 billion), a 18.2 percent increase over the Rp 1.89 trillion target set in the 2018 state budget.
