Former House of Representatives speaker Setya Novanto has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in the e-ID graft case, which reportedly caused Rp 2.3 trillion (US$165.29 million) in state losses.The case can be traced as far back as 2013, when Setya’s name was first mentioned in the case.
