View all search resultsAs the COVID-19 pandemic continues to sweep the globe, Tengku has had to make do with shelved plans and a more uncertain future, after the Indonesian government urged its jet-setting citizens to return from abroad to avoid more imminent travel restrictions.
In most universities, these tests are simply known mistakenly as the TOEFL test. Many employers include these TOEFL-like tests in their recruitment programs. Many, if not all, state universities require their students to get a certain minimum score, such as 450, to be able to attend the graduation ceremony.
The massive investment poured onto the program was driven by the idea that Indonesia urgently needs to develop its human capital if it wants to thrive in innovation and technology to boost economic growth and escape from the middle-income trap.
